February is truly the month the world falls in love. I took this little saying from an old Christmas song, A Christmas Waltz by the Carpenters. This phrase caught me when I heard it, of course it was around Christmas time, but I thought it more appropriate for Valentine’s Day. I have found that couples celebrate Valentine’s Day all month-long in February. Whenever they can make a quick getaway they validate it with the notion that they are doing it for love, for Valentine’s Day. My husband thinks I am crazy to fall for the “month of love” but I think it is important to embrace this concept and make that significant other feel special.
