If this room is rented plus the next door Crow’s Nest you would occupy the entire third floor, making the two rooms the best value in a B&B room for sleeping four people. This room is in the eaves of the house so the ceiling comes down around the edges of the room, above the loo boys so no standing. Skylights to view stars at night plus a window, one room faces backyard and one faces the front.

Windward House Crow’s Nest Queen Bedroom…
The Windward House is named for a sailing term – to windward is to sail against the wind. It is symbolic of the owners passion for leading a different kind of life despite the fact that it may be more difficult that the conventional. It also denotes, as the Windward House Crow’s Nest Queen Bedroom is named after the crow’s nest on a ship. This a small perch atop a mast where sailors could look out at the horizon. Windward House’s nautical theme is based upon the practical fact that it is so near the harbor, that for over a quarter century passengers crew and captains of yachts in the harbor have stayed at the Windward House when they wish to have a night away from the cabin, or their boat is in the Wafarer Marine yard.
