We have Peter Jones of Mountain Street Pottery to thank for this really great hand made mug.
This mug is a tradition at the Camden Windward House Bed and Breakfast. This Earthen ware Pottery Mug is an excellent choice for coffee. Guests love the little finger dent in the handle that makes the mug so comfortable to hold. The mugs were designed and made by Mountain Street Pottery for Windward House. When Kris and Jes bought the Inn the mugs came with the deal. The original mugs were used for morning breakfast and so many people offered to buy the mug right from the table that Kristi and Jesse contacted Mountain Street Pottery and asked him to make more, this time to sell. There are still some original mugs in rotation at breakfast, so if you see on, take it for a ride, have a cup of coffee in it, than take one home with you. Price $22.99

The Windward House Blend is our signature blend of coffees hand selected, shade grown, organic fair trade beans roasted to perfection and so wonderful to drink it never has time to be more than a few minutes made.
The former Windward owners tell a funny story about the day the went to a tasting to decide what the Windward House Blend will taste like, they told about tasting coffee for 2 hours, they said they were shaking when they left from all the caffeine. I am glad they did this job and not me. They came up with a medium blend that is perfect for morning.
Our coffee is a s rich and complex as the Maine coast, the coffee is roasted in a small-batch Deidrich 12-kilo drum roaster, to ensure that each batch is brought to perfection. The coffee is rich but not overpowering as any of the guests of the Windward House Bed & Breakfast will tell you. For freshness, we seal our beans in foil bags as soon as they are cooled after roasting.

Can be purchase online in Regular and decaf: $12.00 per bag.
