The Windward is an imaculate place to stay in all aspects. The attention to detail is outstanding and the owners are most delightful. The close walking distance to Camden an added bonus.
Do not be fooled by the other more costly Band B’s in the area, this is the place to stay.

Jack and I drove through Camden two years ago on our way
from Bar Harbor to CT and vowed we would have to come back to this beautiful
town. So here we are at the wonderful Windward House celebrating our 30th
anniversary. Kristen’s cookies are awesome and I can’t get enough of that
delicious Maine Lobster. We will be back!!

Looking back in this journal, it is easy to see how so many
from all over the world have come to love Maine and the Windward House. We are
so happy to add ourselves to the long list of those who are blessed with
wonderful memories of Camden, ME and the kind of people who reside here. Thank
you for making our getaway absolutely the best!

Beautiful – the town, the house, the room, the bed, what a
great night’s sleep… then a scrumptious breakfast and stimulating conversation.
Couldn’t ask for more – our only regret was that it was just 1 night. Thanks

Knowing very little about Maine, instinct brought us here to
Camden and Windward House and we have not been disappointed.
Kristi & Jesse are wonderful hosts and always go the
extra mile to please, satisfy and make staying here fun. The “Brass Room” is
definitely “ours” for the future visits.
Untypically, we have stayed 9 nights and do not want to
leave. To all who read this, stay longer too, it is great!
