The Windward House Blend is our signature blend of coffees hand selected, shade grown, organic fair trade beans roasted to perfection and so wonderful to drink it never has time to be more than a few minutes made.
The former Windward owners tell a funny story about the day the went to a tasting to decide what the Windward House Blend will taste like, they told about tasting coffee for 2 hours, they said they were shaking when they left from all the caffeine. I am glad they did this job and not me. They came up with a medium blend that is perfect for morning.
Our coffee is a s rich and complex as the Maine coast, the coffee is roasted in a small-batch Deidrich 12-kilo drum roaster, to ensure that  each batch is brought to perfection.  The coffee is rich but not overpowering as any of the guests of the Windward House Bed & Breakfast will tell you. For freshness, we seal our beans in foil bags as soon as they are cooled after roasting.
