Camden, Your Personal Maine Lobster Festival

Camden Maine, how do you love lobster? Let us count the ways…

What are we suggesting? Come and stay in Camden Maine and sample a different lobster dish each day, lobster chowder, lobster mashed potatoes, steamed lobster, or how about tempura lobster with forest mushrooms, bok-choy, micro greens and a lemon nage?
You don’t need to wait for Rockland’s annual Lobster Festival to have a great time eating lobster in a small New England coastal village.
Of the five finalists in the 2008 People’s Choice Lobster Awards, two were from Camden Maine restaurants: Atlantica and Natalies. Joshua Clark, from Atlantica Seafood Bistro, owned by Chef Ken Pacquin and his wife Del, with their fantastic lobster mashed among other great menu items, and Lawrance Klang, the executive Chef at Natalies restaurant in Camden Maine was also one of the top five who competed in the People’s Choice award for his lobster recipe. For such a small town, that’s really amazing. All of these great lobster restaurants are within an easy walk of the Camden Windward House Bed and Breakfast.
The People’s Choice competition held every year at Blaine House, the Maine Governor’s mansion, in Augusta, netted not one but two great Camden Maine chefs!
In addition, Bayview Lobster has a live lobster tank right out on the dock, and steams them perfectly for their guests, not to mention Camden’s Thai curry Lobster, Waterfront Restaurant’s lobster, Ephemere fresh french influenced seafood, and Francine’s local chef for fresh Maine Lobster, and don’t forget that classic New England favorite, -the lobster roll, and who better to serve it than the Camden Deli? The Camden Deli has great food and a great view, and the best Lobster Roll for miles around!
