Sweetgrass is well known for their hand-crafted Maine grown fruit wines, ports, brandies, & spirits, and of course the famous Back
River Gin. They offer tours of the winery/distillery, and where you can learn about
wine and spirit production from an award-winning winemaker
and the owner of the farm that is preserving Union Maine’s rich farming tradition. Sweetgrass also offers guests the opportunity to hike their trails and enjoy breathtaking panoramic views of the Medomak River Valley. This is a must stop for Fall Foliage touring as well as our Wine Trail guests. It is only a 25 minute drive from the Camden Windward House B&B in Camden Maine.
