The Elijah Glover Room is located up the main staircase on the 2nd floor of the Windward House Inn. This deluxe bedroom is furnished in traditional antique décor and features a queen-sized four-poster period replica bed. Three large windows allow in plenty of light and the right amount of circulation to enjoy a cool Maine summer breeze.

The large en-suite bathroom features a walk-in shower.

The Windward House has been providing comfort for our guests for over a quarter of a century, however, it was built in the 1850s as a private residence. CPT Elijah Glover (1792-1868) was a lumberman and shipbuilder who built this house and operated his business in it, because of its proximity to the harbor.
